At Darcybow, we recently delivered one of our Irish made communion dresses to Kildare, Ireland. Erica, from Kildare, was unsuccessful in her search for a classic communion dress that was made here in Ireland for her daughter Kate.
Erica had always envisaged her only daughter wearing a simple and elegant dress - just like she had herself when she was a little girl but she couldn’t find a similar style anywhere. Having spent time looking at communion dress shops in Kildare to no avail, she looked online and an image from Darcybow popped up and she explored more. She was so excited to find that we could make that dress she always wanted, all without leaving Kildare.
Erica was able to set up a complimentary virtual styling appointment with the designer where she could view the dresses and speak with the designer, along with her daughter. This was followed by a Dress-Up-Try-On box sent to her home so her daughter could try it on in the comfort of her own home in Kildare.
At Darcybow, we have our fingers crossed that we will be able to plan the return of our popular “Darcy Day Out” events in The K Club, Kildare for this coming November. At our events we hold one-on-one personal styling appointments where you can choose your dress and make a treasured memory, all in the surrounds of this luxurious hotel in Kildare.
Erica selected our Caroline Communion dress in antique cream which was made in Dublin using a beautiful rich zibiline fabric with lace trim.
