ONLINE SHOPPING
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, prices, photographic representations and descriptions of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the appearances, colours, textures or finishes of our products that appear on the website. What you see will depend on your monitor and computer equipment, we are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. We will not be liable for any reason if the Darcybow website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of or the entire Darcybow website.All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Non-acceptance of your order may be due to any one or more of the following non-exhaustive reasons:
- The product you ordered is out of stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- We have identified a pricing or product description error
- There is a system or procurement failure; and Failed customer validation checks.
EMAIL CONTACT WITH YOU
We use An Post delivery service for our Standard delivery services. Standard delivery to most addresses in Ireland generally takes up to 2-3 working days. If An Post is unable to deliver your item, they will leave a delivery notification docket for you. This outlines all the information on how to collect the item(s). You can collect your item(s) from their local delivery units or they can arrange redelivery to the same or alternative address. All items can be tracked using the track & trace option on An Post.
Please note that your delivery may take longer during sale or other busy periods. We are unable to guarantee delivery earlier than this time frame.
We will make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors or events outside our control, for example extreme weather, a flood or fire. Darcybow shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.
Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered to you.
Once we have received the item(s) a refund will be issued to your credit/debit card. This will appear on your account within ten days depending on your card issuer.

Information that you (or the person receiving the service) provide, as part of your booking, may include personal information that has enhanced rights at law and, as applicable, we will look after this information in accordance with the relevant obligations set out within these data protection laws.
We work with Gettimely.com a carefully selected third party to process your booking and the personal information that you (or the person receiving the service) provide will be shared with them for such purposes, as well as any Partner providing the appointment service(s). We require all the third parties that we interact with to treat your personal information as securely, carefully and confidentially as we do. We may retain your personal information, preferences and details of your transactions in order to provide the best customer experience before and after your appointment. We will retain the same in accordance with relevant data protection or privacy legislation. If, at any point, you no longer wish us to hold your personal information or you do not wish to receive information from us then there are a number of ways you can request that we delete the same. COPYRIGHT POLICY
GIFT CARDS
- The Darcybow Gift Card is not a credit card, charge card, or cheque guarantee card.
- Valid Darcybow gift cards may only be used as full or part payment for goods.
- Darcybow reserves the right to decline any gift card which has not been validly activated according to our procedures.
- The gift card is non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.
- Any residual balance on the gift card following purchase of goods will remain on the gift card while the gift card is valid, to apply towards future purchases.
- Darcybow expressly excludes all liability for lost stolen and damaged gift cards.
Our Terms & Conditions are in place to keep both parties protected and we endeavour to work with you with any concerns you might have with our products. We will talk you through our process at one of our private one-to-one styling appointments before you place your Communion dress order. Before purchasing your Communion dress from our Once In A Lifetime Collection by Darcybow, we ask you to take a couple of minutes to read our Terms & Conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMMUNION DRESS PRE-ORDERS
We ask that you take some time to check that all your personal details are correct and that you are ordering the correct dress, size and colour. Please note no refunds are offered unless goods are faulty.
TRANSACTIONS
- All orders require a 50% deposit before a Communion dress is ordered.
- At our one-to-one private styling appointments we accept debit/credit cards and use sum-up machine to facilitate your purchase. We also accept cash.
- Once your deposit is made, we will schedule your dress with our production team. No refunds will be made at this stage.
- Deposits are non refundable - Unfortunately as your dress has been reserved for you, someone else may have missed out on purchasing it.
- Once your payment is confirmed, the production process begins and they start to select and cut material according to your size. Therefore, we are unable to accept returns on pre-ordered dresses apart from in the case of faulty goods. Please make sure that measurements are taken accurately and sizes are chosen carefully.
- Until we have received the final payment on your purchase we will not allow any products to leave until full payment has been made.
- We take great pride in presenting you with your special dress and it is important to us that you check your dress and that you are happy with it's condition before you leave with it.
ALTERATION SERVICES
Alterations are not included in the price of your Communion Dress. We do not undertake any alterations. We endeavour to order a dress that is close in size to reduce the cost of alterations. Special Occasion alternation costs can be slightly higher than normal, please use a reputable Alterations Service and agree a price before commencement of any work.
PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY
All prices are correct at time of publication. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without notice. We are therefore not obligated to refund the difference.
Before any contract is formed, any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any literature, website based information, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by us shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.
CHANGES IN SPECIFICATION
In the event of a product or a products component/fabric going into short supply, we will source a replacement. If the replacement product or component/fabric is very different to the original advertised on the website the company will contact the customer direct to discuss it with them.
We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, willful damage, negligence, misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our approval.
Purchased goods at our one-to-one appointments or online shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland and EU. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland or EU.
PRIVACY & COOKIE POLICY
We have developed this privacy statement because we want you to feel confident about the privacy and security of your personal details when you visit or use the darcybow.ie website. We respect your right to privacy. We treat as confidential all of the personal information you give to us. By using the Darcybow website or by registering as a user of any services provided by Darcybow, you agree to our use of your data as set out below. Darcybow is registered with the Data Protection Commissioner as a Data Controller and all handling and processing of your personal data is strictly in accordance with the data protection principles contained in the Data Protection Acts, 1988-2003. The Darcybow servers are located in a secure facility and any access to your personal data is strictly controlled and limited only to persons who are authorised and have appropriate security clearance to access the servers. Saved payment card details are transmitted by Darcybow in an encrypted form to provide extra security for your online transactions. They are only shared with our payment partner and not with any other third parties and are only used to process your order, using our payment.
